Overall it was meh. Built the tension for midnight then… Will show the video in my next post. You guys decide. For me it was ho-hum. Might be because I got tired from standing the entire time. That and it was humid.

As soon as the host, Rovilson Fernandez, said “you may now claim your iPhone 3G,” we left as did other people LOLOLOLOLOLOL. I don’t thing anything eventful happened soon after. They also ended the program after the announcement. Even that bit wasn’t executed with the passion of a thousand burning suns. I mean, come on! iPhone! Hype! Drama! XD

Anyone knows if appstore and itunes downloading is possible?i mean with local rates?
I dont think i’ve seen anything from globe except the launch.wala man lang info on something to build & boost sales like intro and/or support appstore and itunes.
lame lame lame. kala nila everybody’s into it. eh mostly nman na mga nkakaalam ng iphone meron na sigurong gen1 iphone, which is pretty much useful enough.
i hav the old one, and i’m sticking with it. I’ll probably get the next release which i think will be on iphone bday again.

If by local rates you mean using your local credit card then yes. it’s possible. Connect to iTunes Philippines via, duh, iTunes and download away. You’ll get charged in US$, though, converted methinks using the current prevailing exchange rate. Inquire to be absolutely sure.
