On Hideeni

Last Saturday, you may have chanced upon tis message from the Mayor:

What is Hideeni and how do we find him? I spent about half a day going around pet friend’s houses with the hopes that maybe I’ll find him. Turns out, he found me. When I restarted Pet Society for another day Sunday, there he was in my main room walking idly towards me which made me go, “WHOA!”

For those who are still on the hunt for this elusive black pet in feather costume, do not worry nor exert much effort. Other players said he could be in your friend’s houses and not necessarily in their main rooms (like their garden, perhaps, or other rooms), your own house (so check out your other rooms, too), or the shops. Unlike what was claimed, he does not exert an effort to hide at all. In fact, you may most probably find him walking towards you when you go inside a room or shop. When you do find him, click on him. You will then be prompted with this message:

Click on “announce” in the popup (shown above) so your friends can claim their puppy gift.

Your profile will then have this message. Have your contacts click on “Accept Free Gift.” Once they restart the game, a blue gift box will appear in their main room, like this:

I saw the announcement on my page when my contact Karen found the Hideeni in her main room (much like my case). She announced, I clicked on “Accept Free Gift,” and I now am a proud owner of a puppy plushie.

So what’s in it for us if we find the Hideeni? Bragging rights, no more than that, plus the chance to gift your contacts puppies.

On the Immortal Wings

Last week, as the shops stocked up with the second wave of Halloween Items, the Cash Shop started selling Immortal Bat Wings. What appeared to be paltry wings at first will apparently grow into big, powerful, and ultra-scary wings that, unlike the wings you can get from a potion in the Mystery Shop that will disappear after three days, will last you a lifetime. Well, until you take them off or sell them, that is.

Snapshots of how the immortal wings grew out in a span of just five days after the jump.

The Immortal Bat Wings cost 12 Cash Coins from the Cash Shop. It was worth every drop of its price, IMHO.

PlayFish Bought by EA Sports?!

There’s a rumor about EA Sports’ bid and a consequent purchase of PlayFish to the tune of US$250 Million, yes, and you can read all about that here.
