Lumionous or Glow-In-The-Dark fish are hella expensive as most should already know. Only “Fish Biscuits” can be used to catch them and each cost 3 Cash Coins from the Cash Shop.  Pet Society had sure become enterprising. Gone are the days when we can use just about any bait to get all the fish in that side of town aptly called the “Pond.”

In my previous post, I’ve mentioned that as of last update, we can only get the Mosquito fish, Amberstone Bug, and the Rusted Anchor as this week’s additional items from the pond using regular food items from the Food Store. That’s just sad, IMHO. I did to not spend on Cash Coins to get the Fish Biscuits I used.  As you may have already guessed, cunning as I am, I again traded my old stuff  in the PlayFish forums, as usual. By sacrificing a few Christmas Food items, I got 13 Fish Biscuits, no sweat. Of the 13, I caught 11 unique Glow-In-The-Dark fishies. Horray for luck!

For those who are curious, here are the names of the fish I caught (11 of 20 as the game said):

1 Lilac Starletfish, 2 Blue Betta, 3 Pink Ribbonfish, 4 Regal Tang, 5 Tancho Pearlscale, 6 Green Gummifish, 7 Pink Seahorse, 8 Lionfish, 9 Crystalfish, 10 Bluefish, and 11 Pink Starletfish

From the looks of it, the glorious Lionfish looks the most legit of them all because that’s literally how it moves as it swims about. I’d know because I’ve seen it several times in an aquarium from several Ocean Parks. The question now is, are they all worth 3 CCs a piece? You’d have to admit, not everyone can afford Cash Coins and even if they can, some still wont spend real money just so they can add items in their “virtual house” for an online game. Then again, there are other who would. And there are those who would spend CCs just to have items that they want that willing others would want to sell.

The quest now begins for more trades, more Fish Biscuits, and hopefully, the completion of my collection of Glow-In-The-Dark Fish. I’ll have them up when I do. Stay tuned!
