LaMB (Animax) World Premiere on March 24

I have never been this excited to plug an animated movie my entire life with good reason. Block your calendars, head home and have dinner early, because Animax’s LaMB world premiere will be aired today, March 24 at 8 PM, and you can get to see it in the comfort of your own living room.
LaMB

LaMB (made in High Definition) is based on a screenplay written by Carmelo Juinio, a Filipino. Said screenplay is Juinio’s entry for the 2007 Animax Award competition. Think about how huge this movie is based on these elements: Animax (production), Vanness Wu (voice talent), Simple Plan and The Click Five (OST), and Vivienne Tam (fashion). As for the quality of the animation and storyline, we’ll all have to wait until it airs and find out for ourselves.

For this post, I took a photo of, dig this, my LaMB poster autographed by Carmelo Juinio himself. It was given during LaMB’s Press Premiere at MyCinema in Greenbelt 3 last March 13, 2009. I wasn’t there because I was in Davao during that time but, yes, I still have an autographed poster! My good friend and her nephew, both real great anime lovers, were quick to oblige to go on my behalf. They said they both enjoyed the movie. Come to think of it, that big-screen preview was as rare as it could get!

WANT!

Thanks Azrael and Animax for the premiere tickets!

Two of the animators who worked on LaMB are churchmates of mine. I can’t wait to see the results!
