Unfortunately Samsung's cameras are plagued with losts of noise, so I eventually settle don the Lumix LZ8, a budget camera that boasts of a 5x optical leica lens, 32mm semi-wide angle, optical image stabilization,full manual features, and an amazon price of 150 bucks. it just can't be beat at that price.
