I’ve been blogging for more than two years now having made about 192 entries covering just about everything from my mundane everyday experiences, rants, travel, practical stuff, and haunting thoughts, to taxation, male glamour, technology, gadgets, and made-up stories. My blogging served its purpose: an outlet for expression and my way of sharing ideas, something that positively drives other blog writers who are also helplessly trapped in this enriching experience. Trapped or maybe just wading for a feel of the waves blown their way by the winds and the tides.
.
Did my posts ever impact anybody at a level far greater than the usual “I was entertained” or “I got amused“? Had they been at all helpful, like my take on how to bust down out a jammed door knob? Had I been impartial with my reviews and opinions? In which soever way my posts have affected my readers, them entries had, first of all, already served a personal purpose to the writer far deeper than the need for worldwide attention, recognition, or a surge of as many regular readership as possible. It is having seen myself grow in this craft. It is consequently transcending my otherwise limited aesthetic inclinations. It is discovering that I could do more: that my or anyone’s sphere of influence is not restrained by geographical location or societal status. It is acquiring knowledge as I share. As we share. As we all continue to write.
.
I created Fritzified.com to showcase more of the things that will hopefully interest those who’d want fresh, personal insights on things, events, or anything at all that I feel strongly about. I could touch on more things tech-related as I get to access more gadgets, bought or otherwise. I will also, without much remorse, touch on topics that others may blatantly associate with the appalling term “metro” but which isn’t in my book because, as opposed to those who try so hard to look good, I’m just well informed and knowledgeable and these things are attracted to me as flies are to poo and it isn’t my fault that I could buy expensive shit and that I ooze with irresistible charm. Just a bit of dickery there, sorry. This is, after all, still a personal blog.
.
What egged me to get a paid-domain, however, is the pull of making a brand for myself. Fritzified: my identifying mark on anything I’ll share and write about. Etched, seared, and fortified with my experience. The idea of a blogger “coating” a topic with the essence of themselves via their thoughts in writing is much more solid, at least for me, when one gets to share the experience that’s uniquely theirs and that it is only secondary, albeit equally important, that everybody else reading the said experience might at least get something off it. That they will not feel as though you have wasted their time and bandwidth with that split-second nudge-of-a-finger click of their mouse button.
.
If you feel strongly about something or anything I’ve written or if you just feel like making an acquaintance with another local blogger, please, do feel free to leave a comment. It is a blogger’s reward in this thankless endeavor to get words of appreciation or encouragement every once in a while as it is enriching to exchange views on issues and ideas.
.
Look around the site and I hope you enjoy your visit.

Note: this post will also serve as my “About this site” entry.

Parang nutri-bun ba na bigatin sa protina? At first I was afraid (but not petrified, unlike Cake and Gloria Gaynor, gosh) that it won’t be that smooth considering all that scripto-bling on the front page. Nice to hear Steelio!

How they did not teach php/http/html splicing, encoding, and editing to business graduates is beyond me! This took away my HP7 alone time, my days and nights, and my weekend. But I’m sure glad it turned out the way it did. Oh, and thanks Ade, Steel, Helga, Baddie, Coco, and Anne for the guidance and able support although it may already be apparent that I did not follow most of your advises. Yeah, I’m that much of an ass that’s why. Ohwha-tagoo-seiam. Now, repeat after me… OhwhatagooseIam. Yay!

Thanks for the drop-by, Prudence. Your passageway picture looks great. Lived in Guadalupe for eleven years and I’ve never seen that place, I think.

For the theme designer, Miko, it must have. Kudos to him for making this available to the public, free for the tweaking at that. I just customized it with my own graphics, though, still that guy deserves all the credit.
